Annual Energy Day STEM Institute

I want to thank the Region 18 Education Service Center (https://esc18.net) and the American Energy Institute for the opportunity to speak at the Annual Energy Day STEM Institute in Midland, TX, a premier three-day professional learning experience designed for 20 elite elementary and secondary educators from across Texas. I shared my thoughts about the global nature of competition for the Permian Basin, future workforce requirements, and the importance of electricity. In turn they shared their thoughts about teaching and improving our public schools. I may have gotten more value from the conversation than they did.
