How America Can Unleash the Next Energy Revolution: A Fireside Chat with Secretary Chris Wright

Secretary Wright: “…definitely no shale revolution if we had the same model electricity and oil and gas. In fact, one little known fact, the shale revolution very early on in the late 1990s uh and early 2000s, a lot of the work was around and underneath ExxonMobil’s headquarters. They played no role whatsoever in the start of the shale revolution. So yes, it's not a big company game. These new innovations, they're out of the box ideas. You got to try them. And most of them don't work, but some of them work.

In the last 20 years, the United States has tripled our oil production. We've doubled our natural gas production, and we've grown our electricity production like 10%. What's wrong with that picture?”

It sounds to me like the U.S. needs CRE.
