NJ introduces a CRE bill
New Jersey Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia with the support of Assemblyman Michael Inganamort have introduced a CRE bill. If you’re interested in building large load projects in New Jersey but frustrated by the difficulty of PJM and local utilities, Bill A5431 could make your project easier and faster to build.
A5431 would exempt off-grid systems from public utility regulation, even off-grid systems with multiple customers. Having multiple customers would allow an off-grid system to scale, increasing efficiency, lowering the cost, improving the reliability, and decreasing the environmental footprint.
