Paige Lambermont of the Competitive Enterprise Institute said the following in reply comments in FERC's "Interconnection of Large Loads to the Interstate Transmission System" docket:

- I support Mr. Fisher’s (Travis Fisher) request in his comment to enable Consumer Regulated Electricity (CRE). ...this would help to support the goal of the rulemaking, by providing an alternative option to customers, including those large load customers considered in this rulemaking."

- "CRE presents an alternative option for those whose electricity needs cannot be readily met by the Bulk Power System...."

- "...regulatory clarity from DOE and FERC would make clear that CRE utilities are separate from the Bulk Power System and should be treated as such."
