We provided testimony supporting “Bring Your Own Power” or BYOP (the Texas version of CRE) emphasizing the following:

  1. BYOP can help Texas address reliability, cost, communities, and speed and scale.

  2. BYOP is a next generation model that allows an electricity supplier to serve many customers and locations, at large-scale, in a way that’s fully private, focused on new load, and is completely off-grid.
