Texas Power Summit

A quick thank you to Gideon O. Powell 🏴‍☠️, Cholla Inc. and the other sponsors of yesterday’s inaugural Texas Power Summit (https://texaspowersummit.com/). Also a shout out of appreciation and respect to Robert Wittmeyer and Matthew Beltran for their incredible efforts to make it happen. They gave me the opportunity to engage directly with students about the future and opportunities within the power sector.

My key messages to students are:

(1) Your economy will be powered by electricity so you need to care.

(2) The opportunities in the electricity sector for young, creative entrepreneurs are great and with good policy, we can open the door to even more.
