House Republican seeks fix to shortage of gas turbines

Where we have a complex economic problem, we need to unleash the free market to work on it. As Milton Friedman said, "The great advances of civilization, whether in architecture or painting, in science or literature, in industry or agriculture, have never come from centralized government."

"Consumer Regulated Electricity" or CRE is a free market tool to help address the electricity sector's complex economic problems. "CRE Utilities" would be able to move faster and be more innovative and they could also solve the problem of equipment backlogs by developing new, creative grid designs that wouldn't limit their options to the same old, same old.
