PJM reports peak load growth of 30GW through 2030 from data center sector

PJM State Policymakers - If you're concerned about the future cost or reliability of PJM, then you should take a very close look at "Consumer Regulated Electricity" (CRE). CRE won't replace PJM but it is a no-cost, no-risk policy that could absorb some of the new data center growth. CRE is state policy that, if adopted, would allow private investors to build NEW utilities and grids, utilities and grids that are independent of PJM and are in competition with each other. Since these "CRE utilities and grids" will be new, independent, and competitive, they can design for the 21st century and introduce innovations that are inconceivable in the PJM world.
