Economic Freedom Enables Great Escape From Poverty
I can’t think of anything more important or more complicated than addressing global economic poverty. And yet economic freedom has done just that. Hundreds of millions of people were lifted from desperate poverty in just a few decades. So why don’t we unleash economic freedom on our electricity sector, too? Imagine what it could do there.
“Consumer Regulated Electricity” or CRE would create a space within the electricity sector based on economic freedom instead of burdensome regulation and centrally controlled “markets”. CRE would enable new, independent, competitive, fast moving, and innovative utilities.
