If our grids are being strained then common sense says to allow for the building of new grids. Better yet, make them independent and competitive and we will see speed and innovation not possible in today’s grids. That’s the idea behind “Consumer Regulated Electricity” or CRE, a policy for states which would allow the building of new grids.
